Duddles Low Water Green Butt - Purple

This is another great fly for fishing in low and clear conditions for summer steelhead, and is one of our best selling Deschutes flies. A variation on the Green Butt Skunk, this is a subtle fly that packs a big punch. 

Guide: Pete Field (2026) - It is going to be a low water year for summer steelhead and sparse flies will be key.  This is one of the best flies for coaxing a summer steelhead up to the top in low clear water is this purple green butt.  The thin body draws attention routinely from summer steelhead.  In a one fly contest for dry line steelhead this would be my choice.
